Dany Boon suffered a major scare on Monday, May 5, as he was quietly returning from a family weekend. The actor was involved in a car accident on the A4 motorway, not far from Metz, while returning from Europa-Park, the German amusement park where he had clearly had a great time.
He was alone in his vehicle when he collided with another car, for reasons that remain unclear. Emergency services arrived quickly: Boulay firefighters and highway police did everything they could to secure the scene and care for those involved.

They were taken to Mercy Hospital for checkups, but fortunately, nothing serious to report. Just a few minor injuries, and a lot of stress: “Mr. Boon was alone in his vehicle. Everyone is fine,” an anonymous source said.
True to form, Dany Boon even found time to sign an autograph for the firefighters, who were clearly touched by the comedian’s kindness. More fear than harm, then!
A loving father of five children
This minor setback on the highway also sheds some light on Dany Boon’s personal life, particularly his role as a doting father. A father of five children from three different relationships, he speaks of it with great affection.
He particularly regretted having taken them everywhere instead of letting them build their own world. Today, although he is separated from Laurence Arné, with whom he had a beautiful love story, he seems to want to refocus on what matters.
